Ewan makes it three in a row for Merton Law students
Ewan White's paper covering hot topics such as UK sovereignty, the West Lothian question, and the Human Rights Act was awarded this year's Slaughter and May Prize in Constitutional Law - the third year in a row that a Merton Law undergraduate has won a prize.

Professor Sir Andrew Wiles awarded 2016 Abel Prize
Merton's Professorial Fellow in Mathematics Sir Andrew Wiles FRS has been awarded the 2016 Abel Prize by the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, "for his stunning proof of Fermat’s Last Theorem by way of the modularity conjecture for semistable elliptic curves, opening a new era in number theory."
