Japan Tour 2025

In December 2025, Merton College Choir will embark on a tour of Japan bringing the rich tradition of English choral music to audiences across the country. Merton's profound connection with Japan began when Emperor Naruhito studied at Merton as a postgraduate student. With a programme of festive favourites and sacred masterpieces, the choir will share the beauty and spirit of the season through music that has echoed for centuries within the walls of Oxford. We look forward to celebrating this joyful time of year with our friends and supporters in Japan.
