The introductory talk at the inaugural annual Merton Equality Conversation was given by Professor Dame Athene Donald FRS, on the topic 'Stemming the leakage of women from academia: why do they leave?' and was followed by a discussion with panel members from Merton College, including Professor Judy Armitage, Professor Jenny Payne, Dr Rhiannon Ash and Abigail Adams.
