Warden's Trip to Asia 2018

As part of his final year in post, Sir Martin Taylor, the Warden of Merton College, along with his wife Lady Sharon Taylor, and Director of Development Duncan Barker recently completed a whistle-stop tour of Asia. Taking in the sights of Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, they were delighted to meet a number of Mertonians at special dinners in the region.

Sir Martin also gave a 'fireside chat' session as part of the University of Oxford Japan Office’s Inside Oxford series, answering questions about the college system and his experiences at Merton and Oxford, and taking questions from participants who had braved the snowiest evening of the year in Tokyo to attend.
