The Merton Society's Merton Family Fayre

The 2017 Merton Society Family Fayre was held at College on Sunday 25 June. A fun-filled afternoon for alumni and their children, there were a host of activities for children of all ages to enjoy, including face-painting, Juggling John's magic show, a toddler play area, our Tolkien Treasure Hunt, giant games on Sundial Lawn, and ferret racing and a falconry display.

Guests tucked into artisanal ice cream and enjoyed a selection of refreshments whilst a live band provided upbeat tones throughout the day.

Tours of the Chapel Tower and Gardens were a treat for all involved, and a closing speech from Warden Sir Martin Taylor, FRS was a delightful way to end the day.

The 2017 Merton Society Annual General Meeting was held prior to the afternoon's festivities.
