The 2016 Merton in the City Association meeting took place at Natixis Bank on Dowgate Hill, London. Many thanks to Mark Davison (1978) for hosting the meeting.
The speaker was Roger Bootle (1970), whose talk was entitled 'To stay or go? – The EU and the UK'. Roger is the founder and Managing Director of Capital Economics, an independent research consultancy in the field of macroeconomics, and a columnist for The Telegraph. He has also been Group Chief Economist of the HSBC Group, as well as working for Lloyds Merchant Bank and Capel-Cure Meyers.
