Choral Workshop Day

Our Choral Workshop Day, an open day for students in Year 12 interested in becoming Choral Scholars, will take place on Thursday 13 February 2025. The day will give students a chance to experience a day of workshops with our singing teachers and Director of Music, learn more about life as a Choral Scholar, visit Merton and take a look around, as well as sing Evensong with the Merton College Choir.

There will be an opportunity to learn about the admissions procedure, to meet current students, to sing with the choir, and to enjoy lunch and tea in the College Hall. Potential candidates will also be able to sing in a workshop led by our singing teachers Giles Underwood and Carys Lane, and hear a short recital by the College Choir.
