Enquire about a group tour of Merton College

Guided tours of the College for groups of up to 15 are led by trained Merton guides  and normally last  around 30-40 minutes and include the main quadranglesandthe gardens. Guides will speak about the history of the College and life in the College today. Tours can be customised if your group has a special interest, such as J R R Tolkien Enquiries about special group tours should be made at least 14 days in advance of your intended tour date.

Group tours may not be available on all days, but we will do our best to accommodate desired dates and times. Please note that the historic library and the chapel are both closed in Summer 2024 for essential conservation and construction work.  There is a charge for guided tour of £7 per person (£6 for University members, over-65s and children 13 - 17). The charge includes regular admission to the College site. Payment must be made by card at the lodge; we do not accept cash.
