Research

I am interested in population dynamics and in the social and economic processes that generate long run inequality. Lately, I have been analysing the impact of fertility differences on the evolution and shape of the distribution of economic resources across the population. In previous work, I modelled friendship formation as a dynamic stochastic process that can be applied to understanding patterns in link formation in online social networks such as Facebook.
