Student Quad Party Celebrates 750 Years

Face painting, a coconut shy, plenty of Pimms—and Merton recreated in cake—all made last weekend's Quad Party a great success. The event, organised by Merton students Amber Hood, Stephanie Jones, and Timothy Foot, along with others from the JCR & MCR, took over Fellows' Quad on the afternoon of Sunday 15 June.
Plenty of delicious party food, drinks and entertainment were laid on for the 400-plus crowd. Staff, students and Fellows celebrated the College's 750th Anniversary with activities including swing & jive dancing, fire juggling, morris dancers and a bouncy castle.
