Requiem: Mozart & Schumann

Following last year's tremendously successful Fauré Requiem, the choir of Merton College were joined by outstanding soloists (all alumni of the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform) to perform movements from the Mozart and Schumann Requiems, both written at the very end of the composers' lives. The programme also included the profoundly moving Requiem für Mignon, Schumann's setting of Goethe for choir and orchestra, and some of the Mignon Lieder.
