Sansara leapt to fame in the choral world when they won the 2015 London A Cappella Choir Competition. Its members are choral scholars at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge and their ambitious programming sets them apart from many other chamber choirs. This concert contrasted renaissance polyphony with Messiaen’s timeless O sacrum convivium and exciting young composer Marco Galvani’s Lamentations.
