Organ Concert: Paul Jacobs
Paul Jacobs organ
American virtuoso Paul Jacobs is renowned as "one of the most supremely gifted organists of his generation" (Chicago Tribune). In a rare appearance in Oxford, he played a programme of German organ music, with music by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Reger and Bach. Performed on Merton’s Dobson organ in the beautiful acoustic of the Merton College Chapel, this was a truly memorable event.
