After Merton I qualified as an accountant with KPMG in Birmingham. After 3 years I moved to London and the rest of my career has been within financial services in either finance or operations functions for large UK (incl in New York)/European/US banks, UK hedge funds, or smaller consultancy and private equity/debt firms. Having run global teams of up to 200 people I'm currently the UK based Chief Operating Officer for an Italian/Spanish joint venture investing in and managing infrastructure assets.
