Philippe de Gentile-Williams (1984)

I work for John Swire & Sons, the family holding company for the Swire Group, an international conglomerate. Our business covers, Property, Aviation, Shipping, Bottling and other diverse interests. I am the Group Staff Director, but also sit on the executive committee and several of our company boards.  

I have worked in trading, aviation, property in various executive capacities, but always for the Swire Group (since 1988). I have lived and worked in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, the Middle East, Paris and London.  

I was born in London to French and British parents, and attended the French Lycée in London and New York, and university in the UK. I have worked in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. I have various accreditations from business school executive programmes (INSEAD, Stanford).
