I grew up in the UK, went to a comprehensive, then a grammar school sixth form. After Merton I moved to Bristol for a graduate job with Renishaw, an engineering firm. I stayed for nearly five years then left for a new company, got married and went back to Renishaw six months later. Fifteen years since then, we’ve had two girls, and we live in the Cotswolds with a cockapoo.
