Meriel Cowan (1983)
General Practitioner
I studied undergraduate Medicine at Merton and did my clinical training at St Thomas's (now part of King's) in London. I trained in ENT surgery until I had my children, then I changed to General Practice. I've been a GP in Oxford for 25 years. I currently have a leadership role in GP safeguarding and work for a specialist GP surgery for the homeless population of Oxford. I'm also an educational supervisor for clinical medical students.
