Matthew Rose (1990)

Journalist and Editor

I'm a journalist and editor who has worked for The New York Times and Wall Street Journal for almost three decades. In my last role at the Journal, I ran the news organization's biggest and most ambitious projects and investigations, including the Journal's investigation into the payoffs connected to Donald Trump's relationship with Stormy Daniels and also the Facebook Files series. I've worked in London, Washington, D.C., and New York. My current role is as a senior editor at the Times's Opinion section, overseeing the department's outside contributors and also video.

Non-work details: After Merton, I earned an MA in international relations at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (in Bologna, Italy, and Washington). I have three children!
