Since leaving Merton, I have worked in a range of different sectors and careers, from postdoctoral research in Physical Chemistry, a varied career in the private sector of chemical and electronics distribution at director level, eight years living abroad and finally becoming a teacher, where my key role is supporting students find their future pathways. At all times, I have tried to keep options open through developing transferable skills and building networks of friends and colleagues.
