Mark Price (1967)
Former CEO/MD/GM of 5 companies.
Having graduated in Engineering and Economics at Merton in 1967, Mark began his career working in marketing and finance in the machine tool and motor industry, before then taking an MBA at Cranfield in 1974.
After Cranfield Mark worked as Plant Comptroller and Finance Director in the motor industry before moving into General Management. He is now retired, having previously been CEO/MD/GM of 5 companies. These were BICC Optical Cables, GEC Engineering, Mitchell Shackleton, Bathgate Group (which were all private sector engineering businesses). In addition, Mark was CEO of the East Lancashire Training & Enterprise Council. He has also been a non-executive director of an NHS Trust and another engineering business.
