Malte Herwig is the author of numerous books, including the bestseller The Woman who Says No (German, English) and Post-War Lies (English, German, Dutch). In addition to his books, he has worked as a reporter for the German magazines stern, Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin and Der Spiegel. He has written for various U.S. and British publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Observer. is the host und author of the award-winning podcast “Faking Hitler” (stern) and the limited series True-Crime podcast “Jack. Gier frisst Schönheiten” (NDR). Since 2025, Malte has worked as a documentary filmmaker for German German National Television NDR/ARD.
