Started work as a relationship manager for financial institutions for a US bank in London in 1984 did MBA at LBS 1991-93, left banking in 1994 to join British Museum as fundraiser in new Development office working on Great Court project, joined Southbank Centre as Development Director in 1999 working on renovation of Festival Hall, joined Brakeley fundraising consultancy in 2003, working with mainly cultural sector clients in Europe and Asia. Appointed Managing Director Brakeley Asia in 2007 and moved to Hong Kong in 2008, working with clients throughout Asia. 2012-16 was Development Director for international school, 2017-19 for DD for West Kowloon Cultural District. Returned to London in 2019 and took three short-term assignments with education organisations (UWC International, NLCS, Godolphin); in 2022 rejoined Brakeley as UK Managing Director. Also have experienced as Executive Director of three small private investment funds.
