I am a neuroscientist with research experience across academic institutions in the UK and Denmark. During my DPhil at the University of Oxford, I specialised in behavioural neuroscience, studying learning, memory, and altered emotionality in animal models, as well as a biomarker in a rodent disease model. I subsequently moved to Denmark, where I further developed my research on the neurobiological bases of learning and memory. Currently, I design and conduct rodent experiments investigating how alterations in myelin structure affect brain function, collaborating with researchers from various scientific backgrounds.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in experimental design, scientific writing and communication, and developing research projects. As a mentor, I would be happy to support early-career researchers in navigating academic research, developing and communicating scientific ideas, and considering their career development. I can also share my experience of working across different countries, institutions, research groups, and scientific fields.
