My career has been spent at the interface between research, policy, and practice, to ensure that health research leads to patient benefit. I have spent much of my career as a multidisciplinary researcher, including in regulation and governance of medical research and the impact of emerging technologies, and led a research programme in healthy ageing, and opportunities for drug development to tackle multimorbidity. Most recently I was a senior civil servant at the MHRA, overseeing the national partnerships and policy teams. I joined Oxford Academic Health Partners (OAHP) as COO in 2025, coordinating activity across the health and life sciences ecosystem in Oxford and the Thames Valley.
