His deep financial acumen was further forged during his tenure in New York as an investment banker. Over five years, he played a pivotal role in corporate finance and restructuring transactions, successfully contributing to deals totaling more than US$6 billion. Earlier in his career, Eric also sharpened his analytical capabilities in Singapore, working as an investment analyst for a multi-billion-dollar investment fund with a core focus on the financial services industry.
