I have spent my career in education working in a variety of roles and in various sectors. I started as a Teacher of Mathematics before taking on roles that include Head of Department and Deputy Head (Academic), and have worked in independent, comprehensive and international schools. I volunteer as a Team Inspector for the Independent Schools' Inspectorate (ISI), and previously as a school governor; additionally, I supervise a small number students for the University of Buckingham, as they complete their MEd degrees.
