Adrian Burbie (2017)

Chapel and Parish Intern

Adrian matriculated in 2017 reading for a BA in Jurisprudence under the auspices of Jennifer Payne and Mindy Chen-Wishart. Three very happy years were spent getting stuck in with the college chapel as well as the wider university choral and legal publishing scenes. Adrian spent the next four years practising law as a solicitor, specialising in corporate tax, at the law firm Slaughter and May in London. After learning that the UK tax code had reached a length equivalent to 14 King James Bibles, he decided to take up a post at Keble College, joint with a parish church in Headington, that was 14 times simpler in order to further discern a calling to ordained ministry in the Church of England.
