Merton College Choir Performs Live on BBC Radio 3’s "In Tune"

In a prelude to their upcoming concert, the Merton College Choir appeared on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune on 9 December. Hosted by Katie Derham, the episode featured a live studio performance by the choir, with composer Sir John Rutter in attendance.

The choir, under the baton of their Director of Music, Benjamin Nicholas, delivered a stunning rendition of Tchaikovsky's Crown of Thorns and In Dulci Jubilo, as well as Holst's Lullay my liking and an arrangement of Deck the Halls by Sir John Rutter. These performances set the stage for their eagerly anticipated, sold-out concert at the Sheldonian Theatre on 12 December, where they will again collaborate with Sir John Rutter, narrated by Simon Callow.

Listeners were treated to a harmonious blend of voices, showcasing the choir's exceptional talent.
