Dr. Hadleigh Frost Awarded Fellowship at the IAS

Dr. Hadleigh Frost, a Junior Research Fellow in Mathematics at Merton College, University of Oxford, has been awarded a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in the School of Natural Sciences for the 2024-2027 academic years. This prestigious fellowship offers an opportunity for concentrated research and the exchange of ideas within a global community of scholars at one of the world’s leading centers for intellectual inquiry.

Dr. Frost's research focuses on algebraic and combinatorial problems related to scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory and string theory, aiming to deepen our understanding of particle scattering in both weak and strong coupling.

The IAS, a leading center for intellectual inquiry, selects over 250 scholars annually for its interdisciplinary environment. Notable past faculty include Albert Einstein and J. Robert Oppenheimer. Established in 1930, IAS is renowned for its impact, with numerous Nobel, Fields, and Abel Prize laureates among its scholars.
