Conversion project delivers first-class music practice facility

Five new music practice rooms are now open and available for members of the College to use. The rooms have been created through a major conversion project in the basement of St Alban's, the site of the former maintenance workshops.

St Alban's Music Practice Rooms

The project, a significant investment by the College, has transformed the basement area into a first-class music practice facility. The rooms were designed by architects Ridge & Partners in collaboration with Angus Deuchars, an acoustic consultant with Arup; there are three separate ensemble rooms and two smaller music rooms, and each is finished to the highest standards and equipped with a new Yamaha b2 upright piano.
