Birthday Weekend: Saturday - Dinner & Birthday Party

A highlight of the 750th Anniversary Birthday Weekend was Merton’s Gala Dinner and Birthday Party in the College Gardens on the eve of the College’s actual anniversary.

Under the cover of canvas on a cool late-summer evening, guests took their places at our Gala Birthday Weekend Dinner and Dance; a relaxed evening of dining, dancing and music. The evening was rounded off with a spectacular fireworks display to mark the date Walter de Merton signed the College Statutes.
