Merton Society Carol Service

Date: Friday 13 December 2019
Time: 19:00 - 20:30
Venue
St Vedast-alias-Foster, Foster Lane, London EC2V 6HH

Join the College Choir and the Merton Society for our annual London Christmas Carol Service. All Mertonians and their guests are welcome - the more the merrier!

The service will be led by our own Revd Canon Dr Simon Jones and the Merton College Choir is under the leadership of Reed Rubin Organist and Director of Music, Ben Nicholas. In the spirit of Christmas, mince pies will be served after the service, along with an assortment of drinks.

This year's venue is St Vedast-alias-Foster. This historic church enjoys a central location just a two-minute walk from St Paul’s underground station. The service will start at 19:00 and we hope that you will stay on to chat to fellow alumni and Merton Society Council members afterwards.

The event is free and no booking is required, though if you have access needs please do let us know and we will be glad to reserve a suitable place for you and your companions. We can be contacted in regards to this or any other query on alumni.events@merton.ox.ac.uk or 01865 276316.

We are grateful to The Revd Paul Kennedy and his team for allowing us to use this beautiful church and to the Merton Society Council for providing the refreshments.

We do hope you will be able to join us for what is always an enjoyable festive occasion.
