Merton Mathematics Network

"Mathematics at Merton has a long and rich history, dating back almost as far as the foundation of the college itself in 1264. The earliest mathematicians of renown were a group of early 14th century scholars known as the Oxford Calculators, also dubbed the Merton Calculators or the Merton School, because of their close connections with Merton College."  (Francesca Lovell-Read)

The Merton Mathematics Network (MMN) was established by Clio Chu (2005) and welcomes all Mertonians who are currently reading or have an interest in Maths to join. The group, held on the LinkedIn platform, is intended to be a forum for current students to seek advice and connect with alumni. In time, the group plans to hold online (and perhaps even in-person) events as well.

For more information or to join the group, please get in touch with the Development Office.
