Research

I am a community ecologist with interests spanning networks, metacommunities, coexistence and responses to global change. I have a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship to research the concurrent effects of competition between species, environmental stochasticity (randomness in weather patterns), and climate change on species distributions - now and into the future. I do this through a combination of theoretical modelling, Drosophila fly mesocosm experiments and large-scale simulations. For publications, please see my Google Scholar page.

Teaching

I teach on the Biology MBiol course, focussing on ecological topics.
