Merton student awarded Matilda Tambyraja Obstetrics & Gynaecology Prize

Merton graduate student Nicholas Black has been awarded the Matilda Tambyraja Prize in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which goes to the student getting the best written mark in the O&G exam.

Nicholas has recently completed his O&G rotation:

"I spent most of my rotation in the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading and thoroughly enjoyed myself, in particular delivering babies! It was a very pleasant surprise to be given this award and I’d like to thank all my teachers who helped me throughout the attachment."

In 2016 Nicholas will be off to the American midwest, having recently been awarded the 2016 Iowa elective scholarship.
