Research Interests
My principal area of research is Ancient Sicily especially in the Hellenistic and Republican periods, on which I wrote my doctoral thesis and have published several articles. However, my current projects range widely through Hellenistic and Roman epigraphy and literature, including books on Cicero's Verrines, Petronius' Satyricon, and the Entella Tablets, as well as a French CNRS study on Roman municipal life. I am also interested in the development of the Republican provincia, and Roman milestones.
Dr Prag is an Honorary Lecturer in the School of Archaeology & Ancient History at the University of Leicester.
Teaching Interests
Roman history papers for Mods and Greats, especially the Republican period.
