Literature, politics and historiography in the early modern period; early modern women’s writing, currently working on biography and edition of Lucy Hutchinson.

Teaching Interests

MSt 1550-1780, undergraduate lectures on literary theory and Renaissance texts, humanist contexts to early modern literature, early modern women writers, Shakespeare, Marvell, Milton.
