1264 Society

Everyone who makes a gift of at least £1,264 (£126.40 for alumni under 30 and those who left in the last five years and £12.64 for current students and those who left in the last year) to the Annual Fund in a year will be welcomed as a member of The 1264 Society. They will receive recognition in the annual Donor Report and a special commemorative pin in the form of the Merton College crest.

Wearing your donor pin demonstrates your ongoing support of the College, while encouraging other Mertonians to do the same.

In 2010-11 there were 189 members of the Society, and more than 160 have already joined in 2011-12.

We will be inviting all 1264 Society members to a special Lecture and Reception on Saturday 13 October 2012. The Lecture will be given by Professor Kathy Willis, the Tasso Leventis Professor of Biodiversity, in the T.S. Eliot Theatre at Merton, and will be followed by an afternoon tea reception. Invitations will be sent in May 2012.
