The College organises a varied programme of events each year, many of them in conjunction with The Merton Society. They mostly take place in Oxford and London and range from formal dinners to informal drinks evenings, lectures and sporting events. Most are open to all Mertonians, but some, such as the Gaudies, are for particular year groups of Mertonians. Each year in the spring Mertonians in the US gather for a weekend programme of events, organised by the Merton College Charitable Corporation (MC3).
