More about Computer Science at Merton
  • Our policy is to admit the best candidates. Intercollegiate arrangements for the interviews of all candidates ensure that each candidate is considered by several colleges and that all strong candidates find places in the University, regardless of their first choice college.
  • Candidates for Computer Science should take Mathematics at A level, or its equivalent. Candidates for Mathematics and Computer Science are advised to take two A levels, or their equivalent, in Mathematics if possible, but applications are welcomed from able and well-motivated candidates who do not have this opportunity. Candidates are also advised take a science subject at A level, or its equivalent. Prior experience in programming is helpful though not necessary.
